Jiggy: Tutor
Joane (aka Jiggy) just turned 50, and is relatively new to the world of computers. In May of 1999, she earned a certificate in microcomputer support, receiving an A+. She has also taught and worked with the disabled since 1970. Jiggy is a certified cosmetologist, and has owned and operated a nail salon for 7 years... as well as earned several community awards in business. Jiggy enjoys photography, designing ad layouts, and the sciences -- she spends the bulk of her time learning all she can about computers, and sharing what she knows with others.
TheShyOne: Host
Terry (aka TheShyOne) loves people and has made some very special friends through ThirdAge. She learned how special those friendships were--and how caring, loving, and supportive her TA friends are--after she was in an automobile accident and broke her neck in four places. TheShyOne has attended two Face-to-Face Events--in San Antonio and Reno. She's very excited about discovering more rare, precious friendships through ThirdAge.
